STANDARD LIMITED WARRANTY

YOUR REMANUFACTURED OR NEW OR USED SYSTEM COMES WITH A STANDARD LIMITED WARRANTY STARTING FROM THE DATE OF INVOICE.

Only the "Power Train" of the system is covered by this warranty, which includes mission critical components such as processor (CPU), memory, disk drive, AC adapter, and display. Consumable and /or nonessential components such as battery, bad pixels, internal modem, I/O ports, sound card, and cosmetic imperfection are not covered under this warranty. The support of the operating system and preloaded software, if any, are not included under this warranty.

If defects should occur in material or workmanship during the warranty period, Micon, at its sole discretion, will repair or replace the product with new or remanufactured parts. Exchanges do not extend the warranty period. Replacement parts used to correct defects are warranted for the remainder of the original warranty or 30 days, whichever is longer.

Customer is responsible for backing up and restoring any Network Operating System, applications or data. If, after diagnosis, it is necessary to replace a part/product, the replacement part/product will be shipped after the non-functioning part/product has been returned to Micon unless the replacement part/product is secured with a credit card at the time of the call. Customer is responsible for shipping and insurance costs to return the non-functioning part/product to Micon. Customer will be charged for unreturned merchandise.

To obtain service under this warranty, customer must request a RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION (RMA) number @ www.micon.com or Tech Support at734-422-6171. A copy of the original receipt must be included with any returned merchandise. Also enclose a note with your name, address, and phone number along with a written description of the problem. Warranty claims must be received by Micon prior to warranty expiration. This warranty is non-transferable.

All customer-installed components and peripherals must be removed before shipping. If any accessories are missing, and a replacement unit is sent, the customer will be billed for the replacement cost of the missing products.

MICON IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING DAMAGES DUE TO IMPROPER PACKAGING. For your protection please purchase some shipping insurance from your carrier to cover potential shipping damage or loss.

There will be a minimum charge of $60.00 (Diagnose Fee) for all returned products that are found to be non-defective.
